This was definitely one of the highlights of our Boston vacation.  It is always so fun to be able to explore a new city on bikes.  Our tour guides, Bob, Pell, and Ken were able to navigate our large tour group through the crowded Boston streets with expertise and humor.  After the tour, they gave great recommends for lunch. Uncle Pell and Uncle Greg were our outstamding guides on this 10-mile tour of Boston. They were knowledgeable about the city and I felt very safe with them on the route through the city streets and paths. It was a gloomy wet day but we had a really great time. We rented a bike for the day and had an excellent time riding around the Boston area. The "City Bike" was excellent quality. First off, I want to call out Aaron for his excellent customer service. I had rented a city bike online and stopped in the shop the day before to change my rental to a gravel bike. Aaron was friendly and helpful and I was able to update with no problem.
As for the day of the rental, a group of us had reserved bikes in advance as we were coming in from all over the country. 10 of us were renting bike. Speaking for myself, I had told Aaron that a group of us were going to be arriving at 9 am to pick up bikes (a combination of gravel, road and ebikes). It was obvious when we got to the shop, that there was a tour going out at the same time as we were. However, staffing was overwhelmed and the service was chaotic. A gentleman that I presume was the manager and or the owner was short tempered and rude quite frankly. He took his frustrations out on us which was poor customer relations.  As a group, we were spending quite a bit on the day rental and the attitude was so poor from this man, we were still talking about it hours later.
I would highly recommend streamlining your check in process and I would include a visual inspection of the bike that the customer had to sign off on.
Ultimately, we enjoyed our day and our ride but it was in spite of the owner of Urban Adventours.

This is the second time taking this tour and we throughly enjoy the energy and knowledge of the guides. This is the best way to see Boston in my opinion.
