Is there a free trial?+
There is something better: you build your whole site and preview it for free. You only subscribe when you tap Publish, so you see exactly what you are paying for.
What does it cost?+
One plan, $49 a month, billed by Apple. No setup fee and no contract. Card payments cost Stripe’s rate plus 0.5%, paid by the salon. We never add fees to your client’s bill.
Where does my money go?+
To your own Stripe account, which pays out to your bank. You set it up from the app in a few minutes. Your salon is the business your clients pay.
Do I have to take deposits?+
No, deposits are off until you turn them on. You can ask for a fixed amount, a percentage or the full price, and choose how many hours before the appointment a client can still get a refund.
How do gift cards work?+
Turn them on in the app and pick the amounts. Clients buy them on your website and get a code by email; you can also sell them at the counter. At checkout, type or scan the code.
How do I cancel?+
In your iPhone’s Settings, under your Apple Account › Subscriptions, or from Manage Subscription in the app. Your site stays up until the end of the period you paid for, plus 7 days.
Do I need a computer?+
No. Sign-up, your website, bookings, payments and posts all work from your iPhone. If you prefer a bigger screen, you can also sign in on smartinggoods.com to edit your site.
Does it send text-message reminders?+
Not yet. Confirmations and reminders go by email today.
Is there an Android version?+
Not yet. BeautyDesk is for iPhone. Your clients can book from any phone or computer, since booking happens on your website.
Can you set it up for me?+
